NATURE IS AN INFINITE SOURCE OF INSPIRATION.
My drawings include landscapes, seascapes, still life, and outdoor/indoor interior scenes. I stylize the subject matter in both a
natural and impressionistic way and occasionally intertwine with notes of the super-real, the abstract, or surreal.
Created primarily of colored pencil, as well as etching, mixed media, collage, and found objects, the graphic qualities of pencil on paper have stayed with me since
childhood–remember how charming crayons were? Me too.
The intent is to create a lasting memory of the beauty of nature while inviting people toenjoy the many textures, layered color and lines, and visual beauty of drawing itself.
Oh, the books-yes, right! I love to read; books are wonderful and beautiful and so I love to draw books.
My drawings and collages have been displayed in group exhibits and single person shows since 1985 and can be found in both corporate and private collections.
